Art Director + Graphic Designer

Real Black Grandmothers

Real Black Grandmothers is an an archival project founded by Assistant Professor LaShawnDa Pittman (UW in Seattle) recording and interviewing Black grandmothers and sharing their authentic stories through digital and written media.

At Real Black Grandmothers I am the art director for the launch of the campaign Real Black Grandmothers (fill in the blank) and created a brand kit for easier onboarding as well as to streamline content creation and uniformity across the digital realm. I also design custom templates for social media use that focuses on capturing the intersection of Black grandmotherhood, the Covid-19 pandemic, social protests and state sanctioned violence.
