One of my friends, a beer brewer, makes the most phenomenal fermented hot sauce. He’s been using a label maker to add the name of his hot sauce “Cry Baby” to bottles he shares with friends and family. As a gift, I created custom labels and lightweight branding so he can get some labels made for his homemade gift and elevate how his hot sauce looks in the fridge, to match the taste. 

The design has a feel of refined retro California, with fun pops of color and handrawn illustrations like the fire icons and a linocut jalapeno.
